Exercise
The children complete 6 exercises and they are given 3 minutes for each exercise.
Does an exercise succeed?
Then they see if they can do it again within the time!
Exercise 1: The balancing ball
The children both hold a rope on which a ball is balanced.
When they have made a short crossing (5 to 10 meters), by “opening” the rope they try to drop into the bucket from a height of at least 50 cm
Exercise 2: Hoop knot
The pair holds each other with one hand and one of the pair stands in a hoop.
Without touching the hoop with the ‘loose’ hand, one child’s hoop must come down from one child, through the other child to the ground
Exercise 3: Back ball
Two children hold a ball between their backs and when they make the crossing, they are not allowed to touch it with their hands.
The crossing is his make is 10 meters and the ball must eventually be still in the hoop on the other side (in a hoop or bucket).
Does this work?
Well done!
Does the ball roll away, then quickly try again….
Exercise 4: Farmer’s wheelbarrow
The farmer(s) holds another child by the legs and this is the wheelbarrow.
On the route of this wheelbarrow there are 4 colors of seed bags (vegetables) and a route is walked along 4 different colors of hoops (vegetable bins).
At each hoop, a bag is placed in the hoop by the farmer.
When the route is completed, the roles are reversed.
The route can be filled in yourself.
Task 5: Blind test
One child has a blindfold on and the other must give commands: can only say left, right, front and back.
The path eventually leads to a hoop that the blindfolded child must end up in to make it.
After this, the other player quickly follows.
Task 6: Throwing islands!
One of the pair stands behind two caps (the beach) and at various distances from this beach there are 4 hoops (islands).
The child on the beach has the beach ball and throws it to his/her buddy in a hoop.
If the ball is thrown back and forth without falling, the person may switch islands until all islands have been visited.
If this is the case, the pair changes positions.
